What is Biblical Counseling
Biblical counseling supports individuals facing struggles through Biblical study, talk therapy, scripture memorization, and practical assignments. Rooted in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this approach is classified as Pastoral Counseling in Colorado and is distinct from psychological theories or practices.

While understanding human behavior and cognitive processes can provide insights, these methods are temporary solutions for wounds that require a true healer. Biblical counseling seeks the lasting, eternal healing found in Jesus Christ. Our primary resources for this healing are God, the Holy Scriptures, and the revelation of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Col 2:8 ESV)
About Emilie
Hi, I’m Emilie!
I officially began my counseling journey in 2018, but my heart was drawn to Biblical Counseling back in 2014—during the most difficult season of my life. In the midst of deep personal struggles, I was searching for Christ-centered guidance when God brought a remarkable woman into my life. Through her, I came to know Jesus, and everything began to change.

My story includes real-life challenges like divorce, alcohol abuse, emotional and physical trauma, and the weight of legalism. I’ve walked through dark valleys—but it was in 2014 that the grace of Jesus Christ met me and began transforming my life from the inside out.

Today, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Biblical Counseling through MIUD and preparing for ordination as a Pastor in Colorado. I serve at a local church alongside my husband and our children, and I count it a joy and privilege to now walk with others—offering the same hope, healing, and purpose in Christ that I once so desperately needed.
